We hire the rider that wants to ride..............that is the first motivating factor in the selection of a rider....we don't discriminate in any way, so we allow a creative blend of entertaining folk to operate the cabs. We spend a couple of hours training each rider and they must prove that they can control the ride under a load in traffic, and negotiate the city's terrain safely. After that, each rider is sent onto the streets solo to make a living.
We ride through town looking for anyone who spots our ride and throws a hand up or yells out, or we park it and hang out on the cab. Showing off the comfort of the cab to all who walk by, handing out flyers and business cards.
Our riders negotiate each ride according to the # of passengers and the distance of the ride......but don't worry...the average ride is only $5 per person, and deals can be made if you are short on cash, and you barter your cause with us for a cheaper fare..... the riders are always willing to take you around block for a dollar or two!
We hope to profit from the popularity, not the novelty and monopoly!
My philosophy for the business is based upon a completely natural means of touring from location to location around town, offering a variety of services to businesses to bring attention to the location that we park outside of.
We look for as many passengers as we can possibly carry around the city, to ride as much as possible, to make as much as we can, and to spread our services over the city as a source of convenient, open-air touring through the city's many hot spots and attractions.
